Peru's National Stadium

Peru plays football in every corner of the country, and some of its cities have beautiful areas and a large sports infrastructure, much of which has been improved during events that Peru has hosted in the past. The National Stadium of Peru is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Santa Beatriz neighbourhood, the National Stadium is the home stadium of the Peruvian national football team. It also hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the Lima 2019 Pan American Games and the opening ceremony of the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games.

In addition, Peru's national stadium is the oldest stadium in Peru, which makes it a great attraction to visit when arriving in the country. It is a multi-purpose stadium located in the district of Saint Beatrixin the district of Limabelonging to capital Peruvian of the same name.

The Estadio Nacional is the stadium where most Copa Libertadores matches have been played in Peru and the third largest in South America.Together with the Estadio Monumental, they are the only stadiums in Peru to have official logos.

On the land located in the neighbourhood of Saint Beatrixin the District of Limaadjoining the Paseo de la República and to what is currently the Reserve ParkIn 1897, there was a stadium with wooden stands that was a gift to Peru from the British government. This small stadium, sometimes called National StadiumThe stadium was witness to the beginnings of football in the country. It also underwent some extensions, which, however, were not sufficient for the number of fans who flocked to the stadium every week.
