Excursion to the Plaza de Armas of Cuzco

Plaza de Armas of Cuzco

Legend has it that Manco Capac and Mama Ocllo arrived here after travelling many kilometres looking for the right place to create the Inca Empire. They had been sent by the god Inti, Manco Capac's father, who ordered them to carry a golden rod, and it was on the ground where it sank that the new city was to be founded.

The Plaza de Armas of Cuzco is located in the city of Cuzco, Peru. It is located in the historic centre of the city.
